ART INSPIRING ACTION
Art Inspiring Action Initiative
With the support of passionate movie-lovers and philanthropists Jennifer King and Tim Fredel, and their Rugged Elegance Foundation, the Cinema Napa Valley programming team has curated a special collection of issues-based films under the banner of #ArtInspiringAction.
The new initiative identifies filmmakers who have collaborated with partner organizations to create action campaigns that enable audiences to engage more deeply with the issues raised in the films and empower them to enact change themselves.
Buy the Soufra Cookbook. Proceeds go to supporting the supplies that are needed to run the children’s center that Miriam is trying to open inside the refugee camp.
Support your Transgender troops by donating to transmilitary.org which works with organizations to legally challenge the proposed ban on transgender troops.
Teen Cancer America is working to build a whole new focus in our medical system – so that teens and young adults who are diagnosed get specialized facilities, medical teams and research.
Meet the Artists
Members of our exclusive Patron Circle mingle with the filmmakers whose films are in our core narrative and documentary competitions. Estate Events by Meadowood provides the gourmet cuisine and hand-crafted cocktails, and guests are treated to a variety of wines from our Vintner Circle Members.
Our 300+ filmmakers and industry players gather together at an iconic Napa Valley location to eat and drink and network amongst themselves. A-Lister and Movie Mogul members of our Patron Circle are also invited, a great way to make connections and deepen their appreciation for and understanding of the creative and business aspects of the industry.
Panels and Conversations
A talented and experienced set of industry professionals share their insights and expertise in a series of lively panel discussions. The conversations will take place on Friday and Saturday at the Westin Verasa Napa on a variety of topics curated for both our filmmakers and movie-loving audiences.
Vintner Circle Dinners
The Vintner Circle is an elite group of Napa Valley wineries that pairs directly with the festival’s exclusive Patron Circle. In addition to providing wine for CNV’s year-round and festival-week Patron Circle VIP experiences, the wineries of the Vintner Circle each host an intimate dinner for Patrons, Celebrities, and Filmmakers, one of our most talked about events. Unlike any other festival, we connect our guests with top Napa Valley vintners to create the ultimate film, food, and wine experience.
